MistCoin

MistCoin (MC) was deployed by the Ethereum Mist team in 2015 as the first prototype to test the ERC-20 token standard, which later became widely adopted. It is considered the first blockchain standard and a pivotal experiment that shaped the Ethereum ecosystem. In July 2022, a wrapper contract was deployed, enabling the original MistCoin to be traded as Wrapped MistCoin ($WMC) with modern ERC-20 functionality.
